Banah Cliff Point in Bali is one of the most beautiful places on the island. It actually has a few different viewpoints along the cliff where you can look at the expansive view stretching for thousands of miles across the Indian Ocean. The waves crash right below the cliff with powerful force to shake the Earth. The sunsets from this place are especially beautiful because the cliff overlooks the ocean on the west and you can see the sun setting down behind the ocean every evening.

Experience at Banah Cliff Point

I really loved visiting Banah Cliff Point because it was much less crowded than the other sunset points at Nusa Penida. I took a scooter to explore the area so I had the freedom to spend as long as I wanted exploring the area. I parked at the parking lot and ventured to the closest viewing point to get next to the cliff.

It was humbling to look down and see the thunderous waves crashing against the ocean. It truly makes you think about how insignificant you are against the power of nature. I walked along the entire cliffline after this. It was very peaceful to walk along the cliff and see only the ocean as far as you could see.

After that I sat down at a good spot from where I could see the sunset and spent a good 30 minutes enjoying the quiet. Then I walked back to the parking lot. There were a few local food vendors so I bought some food from them.
