So it’s been one more week in Kuta and I have gotten into a pretty good routine. I wake up everyday around 10am and get breakfast and then go surfing for a couple hours. I come back and do yoga, workout and meditation. Once that’s done, I work on the blog for some time and create the reels and stories for IG. Then I work until 1am and read and sleep. I have been loving the feeling of having a routine. It makes me so much more productive and I am becoming more and more an advocate for slow travel that doesn’t sacrifice routine.
I went to Body Factory Bali again last Saturday and it was very rejuvenating. The hot jacuzzi relaxed my sore muscles and the ice pool wasn’t as bad as the first day. I sat in it for 15 mins at a time and felt my body become very calm and peaceful. Going into the hot jacuzzi after that felt like needles all over my skin but still felt incredibly good.
It has also been 11 days since I have been surfing daily. I went from a 8 foot foamie down to a 6’6 foamie. I even tried a 8’ hardboard the day the waves were big and I loved it. I have seen a huge improvement in the 11 days I’ve been surfing. The first day I could barely stand up on any waves without falling and now I am able to catch waves on the short foamie. Surfing has become one of the most anticipated parts of my day.
I also started my visa renewal for the Visa on Arrival. This means I get 30 more days after the initial 30 days have expired (on Saturday). The company is called Bali Consulting Business and I paid them 800k rupiah for the whole process. 50% at the start and 50% when I get my visa back.
For some reason, my boyfriend is obsessed with arcades so we ended up going 5 times and cracked one of the machines. No literally, he figured out how to win at the game and won so many times that the machine stopped working. He is still at the arcade as I write this, its been mad fun 😂.
Lastly, the last few days have been rough. My body has been sore and I have developed a stuffy nose. Hopefully it goes away soon because I do not want to mess up my routine now. I’m going to go take a nap now. Maybe the nap will kill it.
