Canggu, a small coastal town in Bali, Indonesia, has become a hub for digital nomads and surfers seeking a laid-back lifestyle with plenty of amenities. One of the most popular amenities in Canggu are the numerous cafes dotted around the town, serving up delicious food and drink options. Having had stayed in Canggu for 3 months and gone to all of these I am convinced that Canggu is the best place in the world for foodies. This blog post I curated the top 15 of my favorite cafes in Canggu you should definitely visit!

Best Cafe in Canggu: Milk and Madu

I fell in love with Milk and Madu after order gnocchi one late night in my villa. No gnocchi in Canggu is ever salted properly but the one from Milk and Madu was! Not only this they had a small salad on top of the gnocchi with bitter leaves and flower that tasted delicious with it. Since then it has been my favorite restaurant in Canggu. Their menu is amazing, with a range of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. There are also healthy options like the Acai bowl and the Buddha bowl, as well as more indulgent options like the gnocchi I ordered. One of other standout dishes is the Nutella Pancakes which are so gooey and nice. Milk and Madu is also known for its great coffee. The coffee is roasted in-house and there have a variety espressos, cappuccinos, and lattes. I love this cafe and will be back here the next time as well!

My second favorite restaurant in Canggu is LoCal Cheatery. I accidentally discovered it one late night when I was craving chicken. I love how late it stays open.
